Fire Station Fun!
Zach and Kali had a field trip with their preschool class to the fire station. They loved every minute of it and were amazed at the huge fire trucks, the fire pole that the firemen slide down, and the giant water hose that they actually got to spray! Kali was a little unsure of what to think about the fire suit and mask when the fireman put it on though. The firemen even had a couple calls that they had to leave and go to while we were there. It was fun to see the life of a fireman and the kids had a great time! Here are a few pics:

Random pictures of my cute kids!
I found Zach and Kali having a little camp out in the rain in the backyard the other day.

The kids were having fun with their LIVE doll and playing in Kali's baby doll crib. Poor Madelyn gets stuck in places she doesn't always want to be!

Random I know and a little late, but I forgot to stick this picture with our Easter pictures. I just thought it was cute of Zach and Kali. They had a great time making their Easter eggs!
Cousins. We love having cousins living just around the corner from us and it will be a very sad time when Kristin and her family have to move someday. This was one Sunday when we took the kids up to the temple.
Our little friend...
the baby hummingbird. The other day Mark was about to mow the lawn and Kali spotted this little bird in the grass. Mark scooped it up in a box and set it on the ground out of the way. A little while later I noticed a hummingbird flying around the box and figured out that it must have been the baby bird's mother. How cool is that?! How often do you see Hummingbird's just buzzing around your bushes? Well, so I gently tipped the baby bird out of the box just so the mother could get to it and we stood back and watched. The mother bird kept coming back and feeding the the baby and checking on it all day. The baby wouldn't move much and I'm assuming it just wasn't ready to fly yet. We came back later that night and couldn't see the bird anywhere until a day later I noticed the mother hummingbird flying around our bushes again. Low and behold the baby had made its way into the bushes and onto a top branch and he was just sitting there and started to flap its wings a bit. The kids just loved watching this little baby bird and they were so fascinated by everything it was doing. I think one of the kids may have startled it a bit because all of a sudden it flapped its little wings and flew up the the tree in our front yard... and there it sat for another day! SERIOUSLY, this all started on Monday and that little bird is still hanging out in our front yard just trying to get the guts up to fly away! It is so cute and has been so much fun watching these past few days. What a neat little experience the kids have had. Everytime we leave or come home the kids have been checking on our little friends just sitting in our tree.

Aunt Kat comes for a visit.
Aunt Kathryn came for a visit this last week and we had a blast with her! Kristin and I made sure to do all the fun "girly" things we like to do like shopping, eating out at the Cheesecake Factory, more shopping, going to the pool, getting pedicures and of course spending plenty of time with the kids and doing fun things like going to Chick-fil-A (whether or not Kat thought that was fun, she really had no choice):) Anyways, we had tons of fun and the kids loved spending time with their Aunt Kat and getting to know her a little better! We sure hope Aunt Kat (and Uncle Sam) will come back for a visit again sometime soon!!

Here's a cute one for you! Nice Kari, nice!

I guess this is what happens when you hang out with your 22 year old baby sister too long! Sorry sisters, I just couldn't resist posting these!! Okay, really?!! I am seriously posting these? What am I thinking! I guess it's nice to know we're not as normal as you think we are!

This was the awesome face painting that they were doing at Chick-fil-A when we went on Tuesday night Family night. "SO Cool!" as Zach would say!

Yummy!! Madelyn loves ice cream already!!

Easter weekend fun!
For Easter weekend we packed up the kids and headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Stacy's on Saturday. Auntie Sheila, Uncle Jeff, Justin and Jordan were there too. Grandpa had the eggs already hid for an easter egg hunt that afternoon and the kids had a blast! Zach was the master egg hunter while Kali had to stop and open each egg she found to see what treasures were inside. Sunday morning the kids got up to find their baskets full of goodies and a really special golden egg that had a CTR rings inside. We had a really nice weekend of lots of fun and relaxation and GREAT food! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Stacy!!
