Madelyn tricks.

Just a little something from our Madelyn who's growing way to fast!! This is mostly for the Grandparents. Here you go Mema!! We love and miss you!!

Silly kids!

We have been loving this beautiful California weather and my kids just can't get enough of being outside! So yesterday I was trying to get my house cleaned and I just let Zach and Kali play in the backyard while Madelyn was napping for the afternoon and I was finishing up some cleaning. I hadn't checked on them in a while and I was hearing all kinds of laughing and giggling and so I thought I should go see what they were up to... and this is what I saw................

I couldn't help but just laugh!! They are too funny these days! No tan lines baby!!

So here are a few more silly pics I've taken in the last couple days of my silly kids...
Kali's attempt at putting on goggles herself which she wore around while playing in the front yard and NOT in the water.

Do you see what's wrong with these pictures? Those are her pants on her head and her feet in her shirt in case you couldn't tell. Silly girl!! Seriously I think Kali is our little goof off!! She is quite the crack up!

Bath time fun with baby sister!! We love our Madelyn!!

Big Girl Haircut!!

Okay, so I did it! I'm a bad mom and I had Kali's beautiful hair chopped off!! Or let's just say we had it shortened...I think that sounds nicer. But it was definitely time for a little change in the hair routine in the Stacy household. I am a little sad to say goodbye to her long beautiful naturally highlighted wavy hair BUT I do love the new big girl Kali haircut!! I think it does kind of suit her feisty little personality.

She was very serious with the lady cutting her hair at first as you can see on her face. She would not take her eyes off of the lady. She didn't even want to look at or play with toys on her lap that were offered to her.

TAH-DAH!! SOO CUTE!! Don't you think?!!! I think it actually makes her look a little older. (Not that I want her looking older or even getting any older!!)She actually LOVES it and has told me all day long that she loves her new haircut! Thank goodness!!

Well, it was a bitter sweet day. Kinda sad to say goodbye to my baby girl! She seems like such a big girl now just because of the hair cut and I do have to keep reminding my self that it is JUST hair and it will grow back!! BUT, for now I LOVE it and it is going to be a nice change for the time being! Hello to peaceful mornings!!

Not affraid of heights....yet!

Future Hairdresser?...

...Ummm well, you tell me. What do you think? The other day the kids were up playing in Kali's room and Millie and Zach decided to do Kali's hair. This is the final product. Pretty?!

******************
Speaking of Kali and her beautiful hair... I have just been so fed up lately with the whole hair routine these days! She is such a pain to get to sit still even for a minute so I can fix her hair, let alone just brush it! She HATES getting her hair brushed or combed and the tangles are out of control because I just don't feel like fighting it and so she goes another day without it being fixed. I do make her sit still on days that she has school or church but the screaming and fighting it is really starting to BUG me! I keep saying how I am so ready to just cut it off and get her a cute bob or something. BUT, then I won't be able to do this...

Too Cute! I just can't decide if it's worth it to chop it. That will limit the cute hairstyles but it will also bring more peaceful mornings in our house. What do you think??

WIcKeD weekend.

Last weekend I got to enjoy an awesome girls weekend with Kristin and Allison. We went to San Francisco to see the Broadway musical "Wicked" and it was AMAZING!! We drove down Friday afternoon and checked in to our hotel and then enjoyed a very yummy dinner at a restaurant called Houston's and then on to the show we went. The show was sooo incredible and sooo entertaining! One of my favorites for sure! We spent the night and did a lot of fun shopping the next day in Union Square and enjoyed another yummy meal at the Cheesecake Factory(one of my favorites!). We had so much fun just hanging out and enjoying our break from being mommies! I am so grateful for my wonderful husband who loves to spend time with our three kids and who sees the importance of giving mommy a break sometimes! You are the best Mark and I am soooo grateful for all you do! Thanks to Neal and Steve for letting Kristin and Allison get away too!! We had a blast and would certainly love to do it again someday!
