Thanksgiving celebrations

Kali's kindergarten had a Thanksgiving feast and program where the kids sang some cute fall songs for the parents and then we got to eat yummy treats together. Kali did a great job singing all the fun songs! Here is her thankful turkey place-mat that she made in class. They had them all set out on the tables for us to eat on. Super cute!

Kali and her teacher Ms. Giannini

Later that day, I got to join Zach in his class during his Fall celebration. They got to do some fun crafts, play games and eat yummy treats. It was fun getting to see him in his classroom and meet a few of his classmates and also to see how awesome his teacher is. He is really loving first grade!

Yo Gabba LIVE!

November 18th, I took the girls to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live just for fun and we had a blast! I probably wouldn't have ever even gone if it wasn't for the FREE tickets from some good friends Nikki and Sam who have awesome connections!! Thanks guys!!

Madelyn LOVED every minute of it...especially when the THOUSANDS of balloons dropped from the ceiling! It was so much fun watching her reaction to it all and how into it she was. Kali had a fun time being there with friends and she seemed to enjoy the show even though it probably is geared a little more toward younger kids. Halfway through the show we moved seats down a little closer with Nikki and Sam and got some fun action a little more up close. Madelyn was in heaven with all the balloons everywhere!

After the show, Sam hooked us up again and we got some backstage time with DJ Lance!! It was so much FUN and Madelyn just couldn't contain herself!! She just kept talking and talking to DJ Lance and was so excited that she didn't want to share the time with the other kids. It was hilarious!

Our last trip to Disneyland...this year :)

We decided to take a quick trip down to Disneyland during Veteran's Day weekend and get our last fix of "the happiest place on earth" before our season passes expire in January. What seemed like a great idea turned out to be everyone in the LA region's great idea too. That place was CRAZY busy and it turned out to be quite the exhausting trip. BUT we did still had fun as we always do! Our awesome friends Dave and Ali joined us for the craziness and it was so nice to have the extra hands along for the fun. Kids did great for the car ride down and crashed as soon as we got to the hotel room, luckily all fitting in one bed. It worked out great! I'm so glad we have such great sleepers...even if they were up by 6 am! The weather was perfect and warm during the day and cool at night. Even though the parks were super busy and the lines were long, we still had a great time and especially LOVED seeing all the new holiday decorations, holiday parade complete with Santa Clause at the end, the amazing "World of Color" water show, and the new holiday fireworks show!! Although I was completely wiped out and exhausted it was so fun and satisfying to see my kids get so excited and have so much fun...Madelyn especially! That girl was LOVING every minute of everything!
This is how they slept every night. love it.

Soccer Season- Fall 2010

We finally finished up our soccer season this last Saturday and my pictures have been backing up for months for this post. This season was a bit tricky juggling two little soccer players schedules and it wasn't always the most fun for me but Zach and Kali both loved almost every minute of it! This was Zach's second year on the Sharks team and they made so much progress this year. His games were actually quite exciting and fun to watch! Zach is a quick little player and played awesome this year scoring a few goals of his own! Sadly I didn't get very many pictures of him in action because I was probably busy juggling the girls and keeping them occupied during the games. We are super proud of Zach and all his hard work and dedication to finishing up this season strong and we look forward to seeing him progress with the Sharks next year!

This was Kali's first year to play soccer and we were pleasantly surprised with her amazing positive attitude and excitement to play. She seriously never once complained and was out there tearing it up with her aggressive little personality and skills! We've decided sports are going to be a good thing for Kali...she is pretty fearless and loves the competition...showed no fear of the ball or other players and had a blast playing in the games. Although she is shown as goalie in most of the pics it was not her strong point...she was better out in front where she could take charge of the ball! Kali also loved playing on team Storm with her friends Taylen and Avery! We are so proud of Kali and what a great first soccer season she had and we look forward to what's in store for next year!

Kali's #12. GO TEAM STORM!!

Cheering on Zach at his game...in the rain. He's #19.

Another cold and wet game. RAIN OR SHINE they still played!
This was the last game and it was very cold and very wet and muddy! Zach's game was the hour before. Crazy day!
BUT, she is still smiling...not going to let the cold and wet bother her one bit!!

Kali's end of season party was right after her last game last Saturday at Brain Freeze frozen yogurt. YUM! The girls loved getting their trophies! Way to go Team Storm!!

Taylen, Kali, & Avery

Zach's Team party was at BounceU Saturday night where we celebrated the Sharks and their awesome season! The kids had a blast playing and bouncing in all the fun bounce houses.

Zach and his best bud Bryant!! These two are seriously great friends and we are so sad that Bryant is going to be moving soon.
The boys and Coach Chris.

It was quite the busy day with two games and two team parties and I am so grateful to my amazing mother-in-law who came to help me through the whole day because Mark was out of town. I know Zach, Kali and Madelyn LOVED having Grandma there to celebrate with us! Thanks Grandma Stacy!!

and...Great job on an AWESOME 2010 soccer season Zach and Kali!! We are so proud of you and we love you so much and we look forward to many more soccer games to come!!
