These pictures are of Zach and Kali and their new bikes. Mark and I took them out for a fun night without the new baby and got them new much needed bikes and much needed alone fun time with mommy and daddy. It's amazing how much they each really need that individual attention from us when there is such a huge change. Also here are some pics taken in the first week. We did adventure up to Mark's parents house for Father's Day when Madelyn was only 5 days old. It was her first real outing!! Anyways, we did a little photo shoot of her while she was happily sleeping.

Our sweet little addition...
So I am finally feeling like a normal person again and thought I should post a few new pics and updates of how our family is adjusting and loving our sweet little Madelyn. Let's just say it is definitely a HUGE adjustment having a 3rd child! I could never have done it these past couple weeks without my mother being here! She had been a huge help and I am forever grateful to her for all she has done especially with taking care of Zach and Kali while I pretty much sit and nurse my baby all day and all night long. I swear that's all I do these days!! I know with time it will get better. Anyways, Zach and Kali are loving their new baby sister and they really are sweet with her. Kali is constantly trying to share her own blankies with Madelyn and is always trying to put her pacifier in her mouth whenever she is crying. Zach is always eager to help me by getting the diapers and wipes any time it's time to change her and he just loves to talk sweet to her and kiss her. It really is fun watching them be the big brother and sister. Here are a few more pictures from the hospital.

So if you've seen my husband lately....
He might look a little something like this...

Mark has been working very hard lately to get his two businesses going and the one thing that probably is the hardest adjustment for me is that his phone is attached to his ear 24/7!! I am so proud of him and all he is doing and I know he has been working double duty between his businesses and helping me at home while waiting for that one phone call from me telling him IT's TIME for THIS BABY! The last few weeks have been tough and busy ones for him and I want him to know how much I love and appreciate all he does for me and our family!! He is a wonderful husband and father! Now about the phone problem...I did tell him that the phone and his business partner, Jon, are NOT coming in the delivery room with us!!
Catching up...
STILL NO BABY!!!So I guess since I have nothing to do while waiting for this baby to arrive I might as well take advantage of the time to catch up on a little blogging. These are just a few pictures of our Memorial day with Grandma & Grandpa Stacy and Auntie Sheila, Uncle Jeff, Justin and little Jordan. We had fun playing at the park and enjoying the awesome weather!!! Zach and Kali love playing with their cousins and G & G Stacy!!

False Alarm!!
So for those of you that don't know, we did make a visit last night to the labor and delivery unit in hopes and expecting that this little girl was on her way. Obviously that was not the plan for this little girl and she decided to fake us out. Can I tell you it has been the most depressing and frustrating 24 hours in my entire life!!! So here's the story. I have had no contractions until finally around 5:00 last night (thursday) they started. The contractions just kept coming on pretty consistently about 5 minutes apart. So I waited it out about 2 hours before we went to the hospital to make sure it was for real. I didn't want to wait too long because Kali was a 6 hour labor and delivery and everyone keeps telling me that with each child they come faster. Not to mention my doctor even told me to not wait and to come in as soon as the contractions are that close. Anyways, so we checked in to the hospital at about 7pm. I got all hooked up and the nurse finally checked to see how dialated I was and I was only a 2-3. SOOO of course she made me walk for 45 minutes and then checked me again to see if there was any progress. And of course there was NO progress! I was still not quite a 3 and and at this point she called my doctor and told me to go home and come back if the contractions got worse or if my water broke or whatever! DANG IT!!! I can't tell you how disappointed I was!! I was determined to get this baby out! I have never been more ready to not be pregnant anymore!! Around 9pm we left and went and got ice cream and walked around Kohls for an hour. I did NOT want to go home. After walking around for an hour I was still having contractions, just not very long or intense ones. We went home because by this point I was exhausted and very frustrated. So I continued to get contractions until about 1:00AM and finally fell asleep. How depressing it was to wake up still in my own bed and still pregnant! I guess this baby has her own little agenda and is obviously going to come when she is ready. SO today I got up and dusted and vacuumed my whole house today and then went to the grocery store and Costco with Krisitn and then tonight we went for a good walk. NO more contractions at all today!! After doing all that and nothing!! Just goes to show how little control I have over when this baby girl is ready to come into this world. She will come when she's ready and I can't wait!! I am so tired of waiting!! Well, so there's your update and my frusrating depressing 24 hours! I'll keep you posted of any news!

Oh the things kids say!
So today I pulled into the gas station at Sam's Club and I get out to pump the gas. I open Kali's door to wipe her sticky ice cream hands off and she says "Mommy I have to go potty!" (For those of you that don't know, we are NOT potty training right now because of the whole new baby thing and we tried to start the potty training a few months ago in hopes that we would have success BEFORE this baby comes. Well, no such luck of course so we went back to diapers.) So I replied, "There is no potty at this gas station...just go in your diaper." She replied, "I just go pee on a tree." Now where do you think she got that one from?!!! I just died laughing!

Baby celebration!
Here they are! Prego pictures of the BIG Mamma in waiting!! These were taken at the baby shower open house that Kristin and my friend Heidi did for me. Look at all that YUMMY food!! Let's just say that's all we did that night...EAT! It was really fun and I got a lot of great gifts for this new baby girl! I'm really excited to have a summer baby. She is the opposite season as Kali and so it was great to get tons of new outfits and dresses and fun things for this little girl to wear. I am 38 weeks and more than ready to POP! I seriously would be so happy to have this baby tonight if I could. However, I do want to hold out until my mother gets here Saturday. I will definitely need her then!! I'll keep you posted on any news!

Big Sister...
Okay, so I just had to share these pictures and tell you about how much Kali is loving baby Madelyn these days. She is hugging baby Madelyn (my HUGE Belly) and listening to her in this picture. The other day she found some baby shoes in the dresser for Madelyn and brought them to me and said she wanted to put them on her. Then she brought me her own blankies and said she wanted to share them with baby Madelyn and tried to give them to her through my tummy. Yesterday, she found the baby bibs and was trying to put them on my tummy! The list goes on and on and Kali is pretty sure she knows there is a baby in that big round tummy of mine. I told her baby Madelyn loves how nice she is being and what a great big sister she is and she put her head/ear on my tummy to listen. I asked Kali what Madelyn was saying and she said "Ummmm....I'm a child of God"(since that is her faovrite song these days). And of course that just melted my heart! This is really going to be fun to have a new baby sister in the house. Hopefully Kali will still be as excited as she is now. So enjoy the fat pictures of me and my sweet daughter hugging on my enormous belly. :)
