These pictures are of Zach and Kali and their new bikes. Mark and I took them out for a fun night without the new baby and got them new much needed bikes and much needed alone fun time with mommy and daddy. It's amazing how much they each really need that individual attention from us when there is such a huge change. Also here are some pics taken in the first week. We did adventure up to Mark's parents house for Father's Day when Madelyn was only 5 days old. It was her first real outing!! Anyways, we did a little photo shoot of her while she was happily sleeping.

Our sweet little addition...
So I am finally feeling like a normal person again and thought I should post a few new pics and updates of how our family is adjusting and loving our sweet little Madelyn. Let's just say it is definitely a HUGE adjustment having a 3rd child! I could never have done it these past couple weeks without my mother being here! She had been a huge help and I am forever grateful to her for all she has done especially with taking care of Zach and Kali while I pretty much sit and nurse my baby all day and all night long. I swear that's all I do these days!! I know with time it will get better. Anyways, Zach and Kali are loving their new baby sister and they really are sweet with her. Kali is constantly trying to share her own blankies with Madelyn and is always trying to put her pacifier in her mouth whenever she is crying. Zach is always eager to help me by getting the diapers and wipes any time it's time to change her and he just loves to talk sweet to her and kiss her. It really is fun watching them be the big brother and sister. Here are a few more pictures from the hospital.

So sweet! I so love/hate that newborn baby time. It's such a sweet, soft, sleepy time...but such a stinky, painful, sleepless time. I'm glad you guys are still giving the older two some individualized attention.
(btw today David is wearing the same striped shirt Zach is wearing in your hospital pics...good taste!)
Oh my goodness! Congrats! She is absolutely beautiful!
She is soooo pretty! Look at all her hair! I give birth to baldies so it's fun to see lots of hair!! I am scared to go for number three...is it really hard??!!!
I love that little girl! She is so stinkin cute! I love the pictures of her on the pink blanket. Oh and as for me and number three, I think I will just come to your house to get the baby out of me!
Those are some great pictures you captured of Madelyn! She is just so beautiful!
I hear you on the "nursing all day" thing. I remember that is all I did, along with trying to keep the others off of her. I still just nurse often...YIKES!
You feel like a normal person again?? I'm so impressed and feeling really lousy about myself as a result... I think it took me 4 months (and that's a generous estimate) with #3! Good for you! She is so very beautiful and you all look great!
Such cute pictures!! Congratulations! Three has been a bigger adjustment for me compared to two as well -- but it only gets better. :)
What a sweet angel your baby is. I love the name Madelyn. It's so pretty. Keep up the good work with 3!
Uhhh, we really did a great job with those pics on the blanket...I LOVE THEM!! I'm so happy that you are feeling good, and that this adjustment is cruising along. You're an amazing mom Kari...I sure hope I can live up to you when i come and live with your kiddos next week! I'm excited!
We'll have to get Justin on Zach's old bike while we're there. Maybe it'll be just what he needs to get him PEDDLING!!
Kri, she is so pretty and you look fantastic!
She is beautiful!! Takes after her mommy. :) Congrats!
