Daddy Daughter Dance
Mark took Kali to her Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday night, March 5th. Kali was so excited for her date with Daddy. She had been talking about it ever since her teacher first told them about it in February. She couldn't wait to get all dressed up and mommy painted her fingernails and even put on a little makeup for her special night :) They went to dinner at On the Border for Mexican food with Uncle Neal and Millie and also her best friend Kinsey and her dad Bryan. They had a great time and Kali loved her special date with Dad and already can't wait til next years dance again!

Date Night to visit Tyson
March 19th -Tyson was in San Fransisco for some doctor allergist convention thing for about 5 days. It was tough for him to make a trip to us so we decided to make it a double date night and go visit him with Kristin and Neal on Saturday night. Lillian was still in the hospital at this time and so Mema/Mom stayed with her that night so Mark and I could have a date night. Our older three kids were at G & G Stacy's home for the weekend to give Mema a break. It actually all worked out quite nicely. It was a much needed night out to have some fun and take a break from the hospital. We went to dinner at The Stinking Rose which was super yummy and then we took a cab over to Ghirradeli Square for dessert. We had a great time visiting with Tyson and hated having to say goodbye. We sure wish we lived closer to him and his cute family!!

I was so happy to stay with Lillian so Kari and Mark, Kristin & Neal could go to San Fran to see Tyson! I had the best job of all...to be with Lillian in the Hospital for most of the day, all night and all the next day with Kari! What a special time for a grandma to bond with her extra special grandbaby who had been through so much! I will remember it always! Thanks Kari for trusting me :)
PS...and you all needed a break! Dinner and great Dessert in San Fran with a brother you love!!
