Family night at the Sacramento Zoo

Last Friday we took the kids and went to the Sac Zoo with the Hinson's for special extended hours in the evening and we had a great time! It's not exactly the most exciting zoo but we saw just enough animals to keep the kids entertained. They have a new attraction where you can actually walk up and feed the giraffes which was probably my kids favorite part. Madelyn wasn't so sure of it though. We ended the night with a carousel ride and then ice cream cones on the way home. It was perfect weather and a great way to spend the evening together as a family and with our cousins!!
