We hope everyone had a great Halloween! I know we did! It's been a very fun filled weekend!
This year we decided to go easy on the pumpkin carving. I had bought these potato head pumpkin kits last year from Target and the kids LOVED it. Definitely made it easy on me! I wasn't about to carve out 3 pumpkins on my own!
Zach got really into it and didn't want any help from me. He tried his best to do it all himself.
On Friday night we had a Ward Trunk-or-Treat at the church and so I took a few pics before going to that knowing Saturday night would be a little more hectic. Madelyn went as a very cute little butterfly...
It took a little while for her to warm up to the costume and the whole picture taking thing...she really just wanted to walk down the street. :)
So sad...but still cute!
Zach was Captain Hook again ... except this year much cooler with the mustache and eyebrows! Here he's giving us his tough face...
Kali went as the beautiful Belle...she loves her gorgeous alterations that Grandma made to the dress so it was a little more modest. Thanks Grandma!!

Madelyn helped me pass out the candy at the trunk-or-treat. She loved holding the bowl and handing the candy out. What a cute little butterfly!
AND....this is the whole gang that we went trick-or-treating with tonight!! Lots of kids + Lots of candy= LOTS OF CRAZY FUN!!
The kids had a blast! They even got candy from the Lincoln "police"! ( It was actually just the Citizens on Patrol neighborhood watch car. )

Your kids are so cute Kari! Kali is a beautiful Belle!! That dress is so cute. I love the butterfly bottom!!! HAHAAA! And Zach's costume was a good purchase...two years and still cool! We missed not being with you guys this year, it just wasn't the same!
Every time I see Madelyn's hair it is longer and has more curls! All the costumes were cute! I love that pumpkin idea...very clever ideal from potato head!

Police? really? Hahahah. When I saw the guy driving I was like "Whoah!" Patrol sounds more like it, hehehe. I'm sure that guy is sharp as a whistle, hahaha.
SO CUTE! I wish I had a baby girl so I could borrow the butterfly next year! Kali looked so pretty. Where did you get the pirate costume? I LOVE IT! I'm calling dibbs on it when Michael is 5! Hahaha. What a fun night, Millie and justin looked cute too. LOVE Justin's cowboy mustache, hehehe. Maddy is soooo stinkin' cute. Love that girl!
For the first time this year I saw the potato head accessories on pumpkins-I didn't know it was a kit, I just thought people were using the items from their own potato head stash. Very cute idea! I loved the pictures of Madelyn crying-she is a very adorable crying buttefly. And Zach and Kali looked great too! Looked like a great halloween!
So cute Kari. I LOVE IT! I love that Madelyn is hating the costume and you are just keeping on taking pictures. :) So funny. That is a good mom I tell you! Zack's costume was great and I love Kali's too. Seriously. Your. Kids. Are. GORGEOUS!
