Do you see that? I don't know what I am going to do! We have tried and tried to push the pacifier in her mouth but she just thinks it's a toy! AHHH!! She has a new found love and that is for the same two fingers on the same hand everytime!! Hopefully this is just a phase. One can only hope.
Gotta love the orange messy face! She is kinda cute with those fingers in!
Okay, so here are a few more pics from today of all the times I caught her! What a little stinker!! Mark is stressin out and trying to force the pacifier whenever he can...it's not working too well. Oh well, what do you do. She's just too darn cute to get mad! I LOVE this girl!!

You should blame it all on Kristin! Madelyn has been hanging around Millie and Justin too long! It was bound to happen. Hahahah, j/k. She's adorable anyway, so you can't get too upset. Good luck!
does she do it all the time or just when she eat?? Morgan does it when she eats but that is it.
i have to agree with Kelli- she is adorable and especially with the orange messy face, haha!!
You just let my sweet little grandbaby suck those 2 fingers if it makes her happy!! At least she is not crying at night trying to find those dumb binkies in the bed at night!!!!
What an adorable baby and I can't wait to kiss those chubby little cheeks in February!!
I think she is an adorable little girl. I think it is cute that she sucks the two same fingers on the same hand. She knows what she likes.
Oh no, this isn't just a once in a while thing or only when I'm trying to feed her. It's whenever she is tired mostly and for sure always when I put her in her bed now. She definitely has a new love for her fingers!
how cute! she has grown up so much! and i guess the fingers thing runs in the fam lol... cant believe i still haven't met her yet. maybe i should plan a trip for sometime this spring... hope everything is goin good for yall! love you!
Joseph sucked those exact two fingers when he was a baby too! :O) I love thumb and finger suckers. Soooo, much better than tracking a binky . . . though harder to break. :o) Good luck. tehe

Hey Kari,
Little Madelyn is sooo cute with her blue eyes.
I just love enjoyong motherhood with all my friends. I'm feeling a couped up these days so we might need to plan a girls night out sometime.
Luv, Stephanie
I have to agree with Kathryn! It MUST run in the family! Fingers are a PAIN in the butt habit to break, and Kari knows it from hanging out with me and my finger-sucking kids! Sure, super adorable at that age. I thought it was cute too. But can we say ORTHODONICS? Millie JUST stopped sucking her two middle fingers (I think), and we are on the verge of an appt with the Ortho very soon. Her teeth are pretty bad! Oh well, just enjoy Madelyn's super cuteness...there is time to worry about breaking the habit later! LOVE YOU SIS!
Hello, I am your cousin-in-law that you have never met!:) My last was a thumb sucker from about day one, and I was given some great advice. I have never been the type to let my kids get attached to a blankie or anything, but this is what we did. Everytime he was sucking his thumb we gave him this little stuffed animal that he held in his hands. He eventually only sucked his thumb when he had that stuffed animal, which we would give to him before bed, etc. I didn't take it anywhere but home and when he was sleeping somewhere else. Then when he was about 2 (maybe even 18 months), we took bunny away. We had a few hard nights of crying, but the thumb sucking went away with it. And he was able to go to sleeep without bunny or his thumb. Finger sucking is tricky because you can't just remove their fingers and you don't want their teeth messed up.:) Good luck.
