Hawaii Vacation!!
Mark and I actually had a vacation!!! Can you beleive it?! We took a trip to Hawaii for 9 days without the kids!! We were so grateful that my mom was here to take care of Zach and Kali while we were gone and she said they did awesome. We did miss them tons but, I have to say that it was so nice to have a break from being mommy and to spend such fun quality time with my hubby! We went to Oahu and spent most of our time seeing all that we could on the island. We went everywhere from Pearl Harbor, to the Polynesian Cultural Center, to Hanauma Bay, to Sunset Beach on Northshore, and a Catamaran boat ride/snorkeling trip from our resort on the southwest side of the island. I have to say though, my favorite part was just laying on the beach getting a tan and reading my book. I can't remember the last time I actually read through a whole book in one week! It was such a rejuvinating, relaxing and much needed trip! I am a better mom and wife because of it!!

Better wife and mother, you have me sold! I was hoping that you would post some pictures and I am glad that you had so much fun together ALONE. You look great sun-kissed or maybe that's just the pregnancy glow...
What a fun trip!!! Makes me miss my 5th ann. trip with Ian two summers ago. We've been planning a Hawaii trip with all of the kids but now you're making me re-think that...
Congratulations on the pregnancy!!! That's wonderful. I am a firm believer that 3rd babies are the best. My 3rd pregnancy was awful, but the labor, delivery, and baby were all amazing. I don't know how I feel about the whole summer baby thing though. The girls were summer babies and it is no fun to be 9 months pregnant in the heat of the summer. David was born at the end of Feb and I now think spring babies are the best. :)

I can't tell you how jealous I am that you guys got to take that trip! Dave and I have needed a vacation for years. Not gonna happen.... Beautiful pictures of Hawaii!!

Wow!! What an amazing trip to be able to take. I'm so happy for you to have been able to do this before your 3rd. We mom's need these kind of breaks! That's it... I'm talking to Christian tonight!! =)
