Christmas Fun (part one)

Ward Christmas Party- Thank goodness for free Santa pictures! (I refuse to wait in line at the mall :)) Gotta love Lilly's priceless sad face! Love these kids!
The Primary sang and Madelyn wanted to go up there with the big kids too. She was quite proud!

Zach and Kali had a school Christmas program and they both did great! Kali even played the Xylophone for one of the songs and she did awesome!! So proud of my kids!

AND Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a visit from Santa and his elf Noel checking to make sure the kids are being good !!

Just for laughs...

Found these pictures while going through my picture files...They must have been taken at G&G Stacy's house while I was in Texas. The girls said those were Grandpa's silly glasses and Grandma gave them the giant pen. Haha!! Silly girls!!

Sisters weekend!!

The first weekend in December I took off to Houston (kid-less! Thanks babe!) for a quick sisters' weekend for Kelli's 30th birthday. Kathryn (and Ivy) and Kristin both flew in on the same day and we began our weekend of craziness! Our sis-in-law Valerie came in from San Antonio to join in the fun and Meghan came as well. It was so great to see everyone and we had a blast as we shopped till we dropped, ate lots of yummy food, shopped some more, took pictures with some 18 yr old boy models, shopped some more, stayed at a hotel for a night, went hot tubbing, and did I mention shopping?!! It was so fun to just be together and be our silly crazy sister selves and celebrate Kelli's 30th birthday. And to top things off!....Tyson drove into town Saturday night with his three adorable kiddos and it seriously was like a little family reunion! It was so fun to see everyone and to spend Sunday all together. We were missing Eric and Sarah though!! Next time Sarah, right?! Anyways, it was so great to see my family and this made me miss them all so much more with it being such a quick trip. How I wish we all lived closer! But for now the quick visits we can squeeze in will have to do :) Thanks to Mom for watching Kelli's kids so that we could have some sister time and thanks so much to my awesome Hubby for holding the fort down with all four kids while I was away! Love you girls sooooo much!!

We tried to find the ugliest necklaces we could find. Haha!

Kathryn the "water stealer"
Birthday dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Yumm!!

The 18 yr old boy models at the Galleria at some teeny bopper store. This was Kelli's 30th birthday initiation. hehe!

And the trip wouldn't have been complete without a trip to Pappacito's!!
cousins!
Natalia tried on her mommy's boots. hehe.
Tyson and Val and soon to arrive baby boy Brown :)

Grandpa and Ivy. She is a such a cutie! It was so fun to finally meet her!

Missed you Eric! (Kristin, not sure why the flash is reflecting off your chest! haha!!)

Seriously who are these weirdos?!

Happy Birthday Kelli!! Love you sis!! Thanks for housing all of us crazy sisters for the weekend!

A Thanksgiving to remember.

Thanksgiving this year was a special one for the Stacy family. Not only did we have Jeff, Brittany and Paislee come out from Utah, but it was probably the last time our whole family will be all together at Grandma and Grandpa Stacy's beautiful home and property. We never wanted to admit the time would come when we would no longer get to spend endless hours "playing" at Grandma and Grandpa's gorgeous property but the day is coming and sadly they will be moving out in the next month or so. We are so grateful for all the wonderful memories that have been made there and we will never forget. But, life happens and times change and the house and property are sold. I think I may be more sad then Mark who grew up in that house since he was 2 years old. Mark does better with change. But not me, and I know my kids are already talking about it and they are sad too. Well, so for Thanksgiving we headed up on Wednesday and stayed til Friday night and made the best of our 3 days there with everyone and we had a BLAST! I tried to get as many pictures as I could of the house and everything so there are a lot of pics!! (and it's not even half of what i took :))

We did everything from decorating turkey cookies, jumping on the trampoline, swinging on the tire swing, taking walks down to the creek, riding bikes, riding quads, motorcycles, sledding?, eating amazingly yummy food, more jumping, running, playing basketball, shooting guns, riding more quads, eating more food, building a fire, raking leaves and pine needles, celebrating Christmas with Jeff and Brittany(since they won't be here for Christmas), celebrating Hailey's 1st birthday, more eating, more playing outside and most of all enjoying just being together at such a beautiful place!! I am so truly grateful for such a wonderful family and for my amazing In-laws! This Thanksgiving was definitely one to be remembered!
