Soccer 2011

Zach and Kali both had a great soccer season this year and we are so proud of the great little athletes that they are becoming! Both of them played awesome and scored several goals throughout the season. It has been so much fun watching the games, some of which have been very exciting! Kali has surprised us with her excitement and enthusiasm for the game and she can't wait to play again next year!! Zach's skills have improved so much since last year and it is so much fun to watch his games as they become more competitive and intense. We are looking forward to next year when he gets to move up to the older division and play even a little more competitively!

And Madelyn was the best little cheerleader around cheering on her big brother and sister at all their games! I just love this picture I took of her at one of the games while playing around with my new camera :) Seriously I don't think they get any cuter than this!

"Silly Lilly" at 9 Months!

Our little Lilly is growing like a champ and is now a whopping 19 lbs 9 oz.!! 28 inches long and 60-65th percentile on the growth charts. Biggest of all our babies! She is happy and healthy and so much fun! Our new little nickname for her is "Silly Lilly" :)
~She is crawling all over and has been since about her 8 month mark.
~Lilly's latest trick is pulling up on chairs or the couch and taking a few steps along the furniture.
~And then of course, there's the STAIRS. It didn't take long for her to discover them and quickly learn how to climb up... she was very proud of her accomplishment! Going down is a different story of course :)
~Still no sign of teeth yet and we aren't complaining! (latest teether out of all my kids)
~She is eating great though and is definitely showing interest in big people food and already starting to reject her baby food.
~ So far she has tried and loves green beans, cheerios, puffs, cooked carrots, pizza crust, bread, peaches, strawberries, apples, olives, mac'n cheese, chicken and rice, salmon, ice cream, french fries (can you tell she's the 4th child? and the baby? haha)
~She is babbling and loves to hear her own voice and we have heard the sounds "bahbah" "gagaga", "muhmuh"
~She loves to play the "SOOO BIG" game and puts her arms up over her head and it is super cute. I need to get that one on video :) she will also clap for herself when we say YAYY!!!
~She is a busy girl and won't sit still on my lap for long unless I've got food in my hands ;)
~And finally, she is sleeping like a champ from 6:30 or 7 pm at night til about 7 am! I can't complain!
Here are just a few recent pics of our sweet "Silly Lilly". She still has amazing blue eyes and lots of hair :) Who couldn't just LOVE her to pieces?!

It's crazy how fast time flies and I can't believe our sweet baby girl is already 9 months old! We are just so grateful that she is healthy and happy and growing like a weed!! Seriously I feel so blessed to have these precious little ones in my life!!

Happy 6th Birthday to our Kali girl!

Our sweet, silly, fun-loving, energetic Kali turned 6 on November 3rd and we had a great time all weekend celebrating! On her actual birthday she woke up to decorations and presents from us. She was so excited she could hardly sit still and eat her yummy pancake breakfast made especially for her. SO we figured with her party on Friday and a family celebration on Sunday with the Stacy fam that we let her open her gifts before school. She was so excited and loves her new scooter and doll. I took McDonald's to Kali for lunch at school and she was feeling pretty special to have Mom and her baby sister Lilly there with her. Kali's choice for dinner was Skipolini's, an Italian/pizza restaurant that has a playground out back and very yummy food!

On our way to Skipolini's for dinner in Dad's new truck. Kali got to ride in the front seat and as you can see her doll "Sophia" came along too. She loves her new ballerina "My Generation" doll. (not to be confused with American Girl Dolls...because that's what she really wanted but I refuse to pay for those ridiculously over priced dolls).
Kali is our silly face girl! Seriously she cracks me up sometimes when I'm trying to get a good pic and she pulls some crazy face. SO then Zach and Madelyn started being silly as well.

Even Lilly wanted to join in on the fun. Haha! Love this girl!

I LOVE these kids!

The PARTY!

Friday night was the big Birthday party with 6 of Kali's friends. It was super simple but the girls seemed to have fun. As they got there I just had a little craft all set up for them to decorate with glitter glue, stickers and jewels and the girls went to town. Once everyone was there we played a few balloon games, Freeze dance, and then had pizza. After pizza all the girls got their nails painted. While waiting to paint nails they played Just Dance 2 on the Wii. Once all were glamorous with freshly painted nails we had cupcakes, opened presents and before we knew it was over. Short, fun, simple, cute....my kind of party! Kali had a blast and loved having her friends there to celebrate with her!

I had a little help from one of our favorite babysitters, Alex. It was great having her there especially with the nail painting part :) Thanks Alex!!

We were missing Kinsey from this picture who had to leave a little early. I'm bummed I didn't think about it before she left. Super cute pic though!! These girls were all so sweet and fun!
Happy 6th birthday to our Kali Girl!! We love you so much and can't imagine life without your spunky fun personality in our family!! We are so proud of you and hope this next year is an awesome one!
