The Bumbo

I LOVE this thing!! It is the neatest little chair and you can set it anywhere or take it with you or whatever. I've seen the Bumbo in the stores and I know many who have one of their own and most who have ever tried it swear by it! Ok, so I decided it was time to just go buy one. Madelyn is doing a great job at holding her head up and she gets real tired of laying on the floor or in her swing and she just wants to be with everyone else and in on all the action. So we tried it out and you tell me ... do you think she likes it?? She loves it!! She was soooo cute sitting there like a big girl and loving it I just had to take some pictures!! There's my sweet baby looking so big!! I can't beleive she is 3 months already!! Time sure flies....!!!

Speaking of time flying by...my other baby girl actually started preschool on the first of this month and I can't beleive it!! She really is a big girl now! Kali couldn't be happier to finally get to go to Zach's school just like him. They go opposite days of the week which is kinda nice for me. Zach goes M,W,F and Kali goes on Tues. & Thurs. It is a little break for me to only have two every morning and it sure makes it easier for me to get to the store or run errands with only two. Who ever said life with two is hard??!! Once you have three it really makes you realize how much easier it was with just two!! HA! Anyways, life has been busy but good and Zach and Kali are loving going to preschool. Here's Kali with her little friends Kinsey and Avery from her class!!

State Fair

Well, as always life has been a bit busy. We did get to go the State Fair a few weeks ago and the kids had a blast!! The highlight of their day was of course the roller coaster ride. I can't believe they both were big enough to ride!! Kali was lovin it! We also got Madelyn's ears pierced while we were there!! AHH!! I know I'm such a mean mom!!... She actually did fine and only cried for a minute after and I think it looks soooo cute! We pierced Kali's ears when she was a baby too. It's actually kinda nice now because she is so used to having them that she never messes with them or tries to take them out. Anyways, so there are a few pics of Madelyn with her new cute earrings. :)

Madelyn

My sweet baby girl is now 2 & 1/2 months old and she is growing way too fast! I finally had a good friend of mine come over and take some pictures of Madelyn and Zach and Kali. I couldn't be happier with the pictures!! I LOVE them!! Cathi did an amazing job!! (especially with my restless little ones who seemed impossible to get to sit still). Thanks so much Cathi!! Anyways, I just want to say how much we have enjoyed having our sweet little Madelyn in our home. She is such a happy little girl full of smiles and love. She is holding her head up much more now and she has discovered her hands which seem to always be in her mouth(see pictures). It is so fun to see Zach and Kali love & cherish her and want to take care of her whenever she is sad. They really do love THEIR Madelyn. Kali tells everyone, "She's MY Madelyn...See?? This is MY Madelyn." She's so cute! It's funny how with each child I want them to stay little longer. Have any of you felt that way? I am so NOT ready for Madelyn to get any bigger because I know how fast they grow! She is already growing way to fast and already not a newborn anymore...it's so sad how fast time flies. Utah Trip...

We took a trip to Utah for Mark's little brother Jeff's wedding on August 8th and let's just say it was a busy few days with NOT a whole lot of nap taking. We seemed to be on the go the whole time we were there. The wedding was very nice and we are excited to have a new sister-in-law, Brittany, who is just adorable and a real sweetheart. Welcome to the family Brittany!! The happy couple looked gorgeous and made for some beautiful pictures! I did my best at taking some good pictures and let's just say that family picture taking is not any fun with a new baby, a 2 year old, and a 4 year old. They were NOT the most cooperative! Needless to say I did get a few cute ones!























We stayed with our good friends from Lincoln that had just moved out to Utah, Dan and Lori Brown. What little time we got to spend together was so much fun and the kids really enjoyed being together. We went with them to the Dinosaur Museum and a little Country Farm petting zoo place at Thanksgiving Point where the kids had tons of fun together! We also went to an awesome indoor swimming water park place that was so much fun!! We had a fun and busy trip and the kids actually did pretty well in the whole 10 hour car drive to and from Utah. Thank heavens for portable DVD players & movies in the car!!! I was shocked at how many movies Zach and Kali would watch all in a row! Anyways, here are some pics of our fun times with the Browns. Zach really loved playing with his best friend Nolan, and Kali wants to be just like Hannah. They had so much fun!
