Christmas 2008!

Christmas pictures are finally here! This year we spent Christmas Eve up at Mark's parents house with his family for the day and evening and then we went home and had Christmas morning with our family and my brother Tyson and his family. So the next several pics are of Christmas Eve with the whole Stacy clan, minus Jeff and Brittany ( We missed you guys!!) Mark took Zach and Jeff and Justin up to the snow to go sledding somewhere and they seemed to have a blast even though it was freezing!!! I opted to stay home with the girls and stay warm and cozy by the fire. Anyways, after an incredible Prime Rib dinner (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa!), we tackled the presents and the kids loved getting to open presents even before Santa came!! What a treat!!

Kali's loving her Littlest Pet shop toy from Uncle Jeremy and Zach is lovin what he just opened up even though he really has no idea what he is holding in his hand!! His very first BB gun! AHHH!! Was my my first thought! This toy is for Grandma and Grandpa's house ONLY!! Thanks Uncle Jeremy :)

My three little munchkins in their new jammies! A tradition in my family growing up was that we always got to open one present on Christmas Eve and it was always new PJ's. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with Mark's family and I am truly blessed to be married into such a great family!!

*********************************************************
We had Christmas morning at home with my brother Tyson and his family and then we all went over to Kristin and Neal's for a big breakfast and to open presents with them. This Christmas was so much fun with having so much family to be with. Although it was pretty chaotic and crazy most of the time, the kids really seemed to enjoy having all the cousins to play with and I really enjoyed having a brother and a sister to celebrate with this year too. These first two pics are of my kids stockings that my amazing mother-in-law made!! I had to show them off. Anyways, Kali, Zach and Madelyn seemed to really enjoy Christmas this year. It was so much fun seeing how excited they were about Santa coming and how amazed they were that Santa actually brought things that they wanted. We really had a great Christmas this year and I am sooooo very grateful for this time of year and how blessed we really are in so many ways.

Thanks Mema and Grandpa for the books and Jammies!! We love and missed you this year! Sorry I could only get Zach to pose for this one. As you can see I pretty much get Zach for everything because Kali would hide from the camera almost anytime I tried to take a pic! She's a little stinker when it comes to taking pictures.

Zach and Kali got a special big present from Mom and Dad this year. New Scooters! They love them and couldn't wait to get outside to ride them. Grandma and Grandpa Stacy came down on Christmas day for the afternoon and brought some fun gifts too! Thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa Stacy!! We love you!!

Almost crawling

Our sweet Madelyn is growing way too fast. She pretty much inches her way all over the floor and her favorite toy to find are these bead necklaces that she is so happily playing with. I'm sure they are a very bad choking hazard most of you are thinking. Haha! She is always supervised I promise!! I'm sure it won't be long until she is all over my house and I won't be able to keep up with her. For now, I am enjoying this fun stage and how much she loves sitting and rolling and inchworming her way around the living room. She is such a happy little girl and I just couldn't have asked for a better baby!

On all fours and rearin to go!! She is so close to crawling!

6 months and sitting!

I can't believe how fast she is growing up! I feel like with each child I want to hold on to that baby stage for so much longer but somehow they just keep growing and they are no longer new baby anymore. Madelyn is already 6 months old!! She has made some new milestones this past few weeks and the video only shows you one of them. She is now on solid foods and loves anything pretty much mixed with rice cereal but isn't too crazy about anything straight out of the jar. She is obviously sitting up and doing even better then the video shows you. AND....she is almost crawling....as in moving forward and pushing up on all fours and rocking and actually getting to whatever object that she is trying to reach!!! AHHHH!! CraZY! Why is it that my children are the ones that have to be mobile so soon?...why can't I have that baby that is perfectly content just sitting there until they are a year old?! Oh well, I should have known because she has always been so alert and so active and strong since she was born...very much like her older brother! She loves to stand up on my lap and is starting to babble more and has a new sound, "Ba-ba-ba". She loves bathtime and just splashes and kicks her legs and listens to her voice as she laughs and babbles in the bath. She is sleeping soundly through the night from 7pm to sometime around 7 or 8 am! and she also is taking two great naps during the day! She really is such a good baby!! She is all smiles and happy even when she is tired or hungry! I couldn't ask for a better baby!! We just love and adore her sooooo much!!

These pics are of Kali and Madelyn one afternoon. I turned and found Kali wrapping up Madelyn in the blanket she was playing on. It was really cute and Madelyn just loves her big sister. Kali just can't get enough of her baby Madelyn! Fun times!

Thanksgiving 2008

We went to Mark's parents house for Thanksgiving this year. They live in Camino or "Apple Hill" if you know where that is. It is absolutely beautiful up there!! Anyways, it is always so nice to visit and the kids have a great time just running free on the property and Zach loves to ride his "quad" with his Dad. Kristin and her kids came with us too this year and we really had a great time. Until...Zach and Millie started barfing! Dang it!! And on the one holiday of the year that you are feasting all day long! Shoot! Well, what a bummer for poor Zach and Millie. :( They spent the afternoon and evening on the couches while the rest of us had a YUMMY turkey dinner. Thanks so much to Grandma and Grandpa Stacy for everything!! We had a great time and the kids just love going to G&G's house(sorry about the barfing). I do have to say that I have the BEST In-Laws in the world!!

Frosting turkey cookies that Grandma made. Yum!

Poor Zach! :(

Madelyn loves her Uncle Jeremy!

We went back up to G & G Stacy's home on Saturday because Mark's younger brother and his wife came into town for the weekend. So, we had the WHOLE Stacy clan there for a day! Luckily, Zach was feeling much better and no one else got sick! Fun times!

FUN in the leaves!!

Smiles and lots of love for Grandpa!!

Kali loves to help Grandma in the kitchen. She is quite the big helper!

The growing Stacy family!!! Wow!! Amazing we got everyone together!!

Trip To Houston

Well, we actually took the whole family this time since the kids haven't been to Mema and Grandpa's in a year and a half. We thought it was time. Actually it was totally last minute planned because Mark had a weeks worth of business going on in Texas and asked me if I wanted to go too. I told him as long as we could take the kids this time, I'm there! Now, normally we would not even think about taking the whole family because of how expensive it costs to fly but we were in luck this time. Because Mark traveled so much last year he earned a companion pass which means I can fly free with him anytime so that's one ticket. We also had earned a rapid reward ticket and then his business paid for his ticket so we ended up only having to pay for ONE ticket!! Whoohoo!! Family of five for the price of one ticket! We're there! So we had a great time (10 days to be exact) in Texas and the kids had a great time visiting with my parents and my sister Kelli and her little girl Alexa. I was also able to be there for Kelli's baby shower which was tons of fun! So glad I could be there and actually get to hang out A LOT! Here are som pics of our trip.

Excited to go to Mema and Grandpa's house in Texas! The flight there was great and the kids did awesome! Love the dvd player! Don't ask me how the flight back home went. Let's just say it wasn't as smooth sailing.

My sister Kelli's baby shower. Tons of good food and fun. Kelli looks great and I can't wait for that baby boy to arrive soon!!

My childhood best friend Becca that I grew up down the street from. Known each other since 2nd grade!

We love Mema and Grandpa!

PJ's and a movie almost every night at Mema and Grandpa's house. Our nightly ritual while we were there. Zach and Kali loved spending time with their cousin Alexa too! :)
